About my area

I am happy to live near the „Golden Triangle“ of Dordogne valley between Sarlat and Bergerac, nine kilometers from the town of Lalinde. Most of the tourist attractions of the Red and Black Perigord are located within a radius of around thirty kilometers from where I am living, but I am also enjoying the peace and nature of a more “authentic” Perigord which is a good place to live. My real favorites are the bastides which surround me, and I love strolling with family or friends in the villages of Monpazier, Issigeac or Beaumont du Périgord.

About me

After working for about 20 years in a private bank in Luxembourg, we decided, together with my wife, to refocus on our true values. Being real city dwellers, we were looking above all for a quiet place where we could live in harmony with nature. We have indeed found this place, and since February 2020 we are living in a magnificent 18th Century Estate in which we welcome tourists in our guest rooms as well as in our authentic cottages. Changing life during a world-wide pandemic was (and still is) a challenge, but we are blessed with lovely neighbors, and we meet very beautiful people within the framework of our tourist activity as well as during my activity as commercial agent for LEGGETT.
