About my area

My area is centred on Le Bugue, a lively town in the Perigord Noir, one of the most interesting and beautiful areas of France. The Perigord Noir is famous for its foie gras, walnuts, stunning scenery, medieval towns, chateaux and, perhaps most importantly, its ancient history, evident throughout the area but most famously at Lascaux. With all these attractions and beautiful weather, the area is very popular, both with those seeking holiday homes and permanent homes, perhaps with some business potential.

About me

I fell in love with a picture of a house and, a year and a half later, moved into my dream home with my faithful hound, Finlay. I was lucky to find it's near a great little town (Le Bugue) where I could work with a great agency (Leggetts). As well as working as an agent, I'm looking forward to welcoming visitors to stay in my gites, please do get in touch if you need somewhere to stay while you're looking for your dream home. It's a perfect area to move to, lots of compatriots but also lots of opportunity to interact with local people and get into that French way of life.
