About me

Having spent many a happy summer holidaying in France with my parents and later with my husband, it was a very easy decision to make, to build our home and family in France on a permanent basis.
We moved here in 2005, having purchased a rather unloved, run down yet beautiful chateau, with the idea of creating a holiday business and family home.

About my area

We chose to live in the sunny southwest of France in the Lot et Garonne, within a stones throw of the busy traditional market town of Nerac. This is a beautiful part of France with its winding rivers and undulating countryside. Fabulous fields of sunflowers in the summer and mild winters make life here a pleasure, there is a gentle pace of life and there is a real sense of community I cant think of anywhere I’d rather live and would be delighted to share my experiences with any potential... read more
