About my area

Our area stretches from Excideuil to Perigueux, part of the Perigord Vert, with its wonderful food, Chateaux, sandstone buildings and beautiful countryside, it is truly a great place to live and visit. The Perigord Vert is famous for its gastronomy which includes foie gras, truffles, mushrooms, wine and strawberries, you are spoilt for choice! Within the Perigord Vert is our home town of Excideuil, a lively town with its colourful market (every Thursday), historic stone buildings including the prominent chateau, and the river Loue, which winds its way through the outskirts of the town and joins up with the Isle as it heads towards the city of Perigueux, passing a number of beautiful chateaux and ancient villages on the way. There are numerous walks and cycle rides around the town and a good range of restaurants. The city of Perigueux has all of the amenities and facilities you would find in any metropolitan city. You can spend a lovely weekend exploring the old town and its old buildings alongside the Isle river. Perigueux is a really beautiful town with a large, many domed cathedral, lots of Roman ruins and a delightful medieval centre. Be sure not to miss the the Gallo Roman Vesunna Museum, which has been superbly constructed to incorporate a Roman Villa. We are within easy reach of the nearest airports (Limoges or Bergerac) all with frequent flights back to the UK. We look forward to seeing you soon and showing you our part of the Dordogne!

I was born in Perigueux and have lived in this area all my life, never wanting to move away from this beautiful place. I have worked in a number of industries and look forward to using my knowledge and skills in helping you find your ideal property.
