We are a son and mother team based in the fabulous Dordogne countryside in Nouvelle Aquitaine, nestled between the popular towns Bordeaux, Bergerac and Périgueux and only a short distance from the stunning medieval town Saint-Emilion with its surrounding vineyards.

About my area

The Dordogne is situated in southwest France and is famous for its prehistoric caves and of course it’s wine. It’s a popular area for outdoor activities such as canoeing and horse-riding as well as rambling and foraging for mushrooms. There are picture-perfect villages throughout as well as gorgeous chateaux and it is a must visit location for bird-watchers who may be able to spot the rare and elusive Hoopoes who have settled... read more
