This house is located in the medieval town of Vaison la Romaine, a beloved provencal town with a wonderful weekly market and many restaurants, boutiques and amenities such as an excellent cinema, concert venues, hospital, beautiful old buildings and Roman excavations.

The house is accessed via a romantic pedestrian street, parking to unload can be found some 40 meters away, and has a private, cozy garden, opposite the property. Under the house are three contiguous large cellars, where there is space for storing two-wheelers.

Upon entering, you immediately imagine yourself in the middle of the undoubtedly fascinating history of this house. The foundations, visible in the cellars, are said to date partly from the Middle Ages, perhaps even partly from Roman times (sheep shed). The house has been adapted and expanded many times over the centuries, so that now there is a comfortable living space for 2 people.

The latest renovation dates back to 2013. Very good materials have been used, amongst which "farrow and ball moles breath" paint for the shutters.

The front door leads immediately into the living room with fireplace and a passage to a dining room. To its right is the unexpectedly spacious kitchen, fully equipped with appliances and in a beautiful style. To the left of the kitchen is a spacious bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. The wooden staircase in the kitchen leads to a landing where there is a separate toilet with wash basin and a bedroom with double doors to the roof terrace.

From the roof terrace the view is great: on the hill where the old castle stands. The property is in the last built-up alley of the medieval town. Because of this, there are no neighbors in front of the house, whereas the house borders to both sides on neighbor's terraces.

The garden, sheltered and accessible through a gate, has nice corners to enjoy a drink and a barbecue. It is south facing and sunny with shadowy places.

An ideal vacation spot for a couple, with possible guests staying in the living room. Also extremely suitable and lucrative for rental.
