It is only 20mins from the TGV station and A10 motorway access at Châtellerault, less than an hour from Tours and Poitiers airports and under 4hrs drive from 3 different Channel ferry ports. It is also close to all of the spectacular Loire Valley Chateaux. You can be in Paris in under 2 hrs or on the coast at La Rochelle.
There are many things to do and explore in this charming and elegant region of France including medieval towns and villages of the area such as Le Grand Pressigny, with its château and museum of pre-history, Loches, where Joan of Arc met with the King of France and Amboise, the resting place of Leonardo da Vinci to name but a few.
