Chateauponsac is a good base to explore the rest of this part of the Limousin and France. A reasonable drive from the UK and within a few hours of other hubs like Bordeaux and Poitiers. The town has a supermarket, pharmacy, bakers and a café and is currently experiencing an influx of both French and foreign buyers seeking a change of pace. Limoges is still at commuting distance via the nearby A20.
