This 12th century chateau at the heart of a Grade 2 historic village, boasts an impeccable history. The tourist mecca of southern Dordogne, 20 minutes to the daily flights of Bergerac airport and a seasonal calendar of events on a near daily basis in the wonderful villages that surround it.
The chateau entrance is from a small charming village square, with a delightful stone house on each side and the fourth side, the chateau and it's medieval chapel. In the centre of an AOC Cotes de Bergerac wine growing district, beautiful countryside and excellent shopping in close proximity and Bordeaux for metropolitan tastes, this property is well served. For younger families, schooling is excellent and usually children are to be bilingual or close to, in six months.

The chateau and the village itself, can provide peace and quiet in spades. In the grounds a pool, a fishing lake, a 9 hole golf course, the courtyards and the terraces, constitute a world of its own. At night, the restaurants and bars in the nearby towns of Eymet and Bergerac are full of life and music.
The following day, friends and family could be walking, cycling or riding the pathways, criss crossing the fabulous countryside and working off the pleasures of the meal and wine of the previous evening.
Should you wish to consider an income from the property, this would not be a problem, as since the coming of AirBnB all attractive properties are now able to take advantage of renting at certain times of the year and with the experience of the current owners, there is plenty of good advice available.
There is so much to this property, if you are interested, please ask me for more detaiis, which I will happily supply.
