Attractive restored stone building situated in the Gers in the heart of a bastide town on the roads to Santiago de Compostela.

Very nice view over the surrounding countryside from the garden of this house situated in one of the many bastides, a town built on rock, with a medieval gate and surrounded by ramparts, on the way to Santiago de Compostela. A gentle and charming bastide with shops (with excellent local produce), school and doctor. The town of Auch (prefecture of the Gers) is 30 minutes away. The nearest international airport is Toulouse Blagnac at 1h20.
In the centre of the festivals of the Gers, close to Vic Fezensac (Tempo Latino music festival), Mirande or Marciac with its famous Jazz festival.
Now that we have located the property, let's talk a little, a lot, passionately about it!
The property is located in the heart of the village, it has a superb façade, south-east facing, and one of the houses was even once a village shop.
To the rear is a charming garden, facing north-west, stretching along the ramparts like a belvedere and offering a superb view of the countryside and the gentle hills of Gascony. Our opinion :
This house is not for you if you like the atmosphere, the constant bustle, the effervescence of the city.
On the other hand, if you want to settle down in the countryside, calm, restful and resourcing landscapes, to go and get your bread on foot..... Then don't hesitate!
