If you’ve dreamed of owning a perfect Alpine retreat or running your own ski chalet in winter and summer with uninterrupted views of the mountains, trees and pistes, you've found it.

The chalet sits in a unique and idyllic spot high up the mountains, surrounded by pine trees and just below the Samoëns 1600 ski station. Importantly, the surrounding geography means the chalet receives several hours of direct sunshine each day, even in the middle of winter. Access is via a lane that drops down below the main route between Samoëns and the ski station. Therefore, it’s only a few minutes drive to the slopes. From there, the whole of the Grand Massif and it’s 265 km of snow-sure pistes are available to you.

The picture-perfect medieval village of Samoëns is only 10 minutes away and it takes just an hour and a quarter to reach Geneva by car.

The chalet consists of:

Ground Floor:
• Separate apartment with 2 double bedrooms, kitchen/dining/living space and bathroom • Wood cabin (with a 9th double bedroom and bathroom) • Games room with table football and a pool table • Boot room • Large store room • WC

First Floor:
• Large open plan living room and dining area (70 m2) • open stone fireplace • 2 en-suite bedrooms • TV Snug with views across the mountains • Fully-fitted kitchen • Laundry room • WC

Second floor:
• 4 large en-suite family bedrooms

• Large parking area • Terrace • Woodshed • Hot tub • Note, the current owners set up their own private toboggan run during winter!!!!!!

• The chalet benefits from having unlimited broadband internet access via 4G modem and wifi throughout.
• Area designated as a 'domaine skiable' meaning no new properties can be constructed nearby.

In the main part of the chalet on the first and second floors, there are a total of 6 en-suite bedrooms which can sleep a maximum of 22!!

Room 1 is a double, room 2 a twin (but can accommodate a third single bed), rooms 3, 4 and 5 are family suites with a double and two single beds, and room 6 is a family suite with a double and three singles. Each bedroom has a wardrobe and chest of drawers.

On the first floor, the huge living room can comfortably seat large gatherings around the open stone fireplace. The TV snug is just off the main living area (complete with satellite TV). As is the fully fitted kitchen and laundry room plus an extra WC.

On the ground floor, you will find the games room with a pool table and table football. There is also a boot room, large storage room and WC. The separate self-contained 2 bedroom apartment is also located on this level, complete with an open plan kitchen/dining and living room area and bathroom. There is also a wood cabin with another double bedroom and bathroom – plans coming soon.

The current owner has applied for permission to add a balcony to the rear of the property, accessible from the snug area on the first floor. It would also be possible to add a full terrace that could wrap around the southern and eastern sides of the chalet to make the most of the fabulous views.

The Grand Massif is France’s fourth largest ski area and also includes the resorts of Flaine, Morillon and Les Carroz. Samoëns itself is a delightful traditional village. It’s just as popular from late spring to early autumn with activities for all ages, including very accessible world-class hiking opportunities, outdoor swimming pools, lakes, rafting, paragliding, mountain biking, horse-riding, road cycling, canyoning, festivals and so much more.

Fees paid by vendor.
