Placed in the heart of this pretty and friendly village 30km south of Poitiers, and on a quiet side street, this rather quirky house has been largely renovated over the last few years. All the electrics have been renewed, the roof was renewed in 2007, the walls have new insulation, the windows are wooden framed and mostly double-glazed and the house is on mains drainage. It needs a new central heating boiler and radiators but all the pipes for the central heating are still in place and you will probably want to put in a fitted kitchen, but most of the work to do is decorative, making it feel cosy and homely according to your own taste. It has a good sized, south-facing garden behind the house with fruit trees and lawn. There is a large attic which could be converted into further living space if you feel the need for more.

Bouresse is a lovely, very welcoming village with an épicerie (small supermarket for your everyday needs) a baker, bar/restaurant and a new café opening soon, hairdresser, and a builders' merchant. The nearest town is Lussac-les-Chateaux which is 15 km away and has all amenities and a good selection of restaurants etc. Nearest airports are Poitiers (46 km) and Limoges (86km)
