It is closer to Briancon Town than the rest of the valley which is very practical if living here all year round. The town has all of the conveniences required for “normal” living whilst also being connected to this awesome ski area.
Serre Chevalier is one of the largest “stand alone” ski areas is France. The high tree line and wonderful back country make it an off piste paradise, which is still below the radar in International circles.
Serre Chevalier is only 125 kms ( 1 hr 30 ) from turin airport and just 30 kms ( 40 minutes ) from Oulx TGV with routes to Paris and Milan.
