There are tennis courts in the village which are free, there is an inland beach with swimming/boating lake and restaurant 10 mins bike ride, a horse riding and stables are 10mins away. The Mairie offers taxis to Civray, the Doctors, etc with a very small charge, the next nearest village is Usson-du-Charroux (8 kms) which has a Doctors, Pharmacy, 2 small super markets, DIY shop, 2 bars and a restaurant. The popular market towns of Charroux and Civray are just a short drive away. Just outside Civray, there is a train station. This property is conveniently situated for easy access to Poitiers (around 50kms) with its airport, train station and retail outlets. Limoges airport only about a 1 ½ hour drive and Futuroscope only about 50 minutes away. There are also plenty of local places to visit for days out including the popular Monkey Valley, Le Vieux Cormenier, the beautiful Parc Floral de La Belle and many rivers and lakes for swimming and water sports.
