If you are looking for something you can move into straight either as your new home or your holiday get-away, then this is it. On entering the house, the first room is 16m² and could be used as a dining room, to the right is a bedroom of 13m², to the left of the entrance room is the kitchen with built in storage, bathroom and WC. From the kitchen you enter the huge living room 45m² with a dining room (possibly a fourth bedroom) of 13m². Off the lounge is a utility room and boiler room with a door to the garden. Upstairs are two further bedrooms (14m² and 12m²) and a WC. In the eaves are three great storage areas of 8m² each. There is access to the unconverted attic space which could provide further accommodation if wanted.
Recently land adjoining the garden has been purchased of 450m² to allow expansion of the existing manageable area. The house has oil-fired central heating and benefits from new double-glazed windows throughout as well as new PVC shutters. The town of St Savin is a ten-minute drive away in a beautiful location on the river Gartempe with banks, pharmacies, three good restaurants as well as bars and two fabulous bakeries (this is where I buy my croissants and cakes from!) There is also a large supermarket on the outskirts of St. Savin. The local airports of Poitiers and Limoges are both within a 1-hour drive and have regular flights to the UK throughout the year. The ferry port of Caen is less than a four-hour drive away (370km).
