Montgenevre is a wonderful family friendly resort situated right on the Italian border and just 1 hours drive ( 100 km ) from Turin International Airport.
It is part of the vast Milky Way Ski Domain which covers 400 kms of piste. The area includes Sestrierre, Cesana, Sauze D’Oulx and Pragellata.
The village of Montgenevre recently diverted all traffic away from it’s main street so that the heart of the village is pedestrian friendly and easily accessible. In fact one does not need a car when one arrives here on holiday. The main ski lifts and pistes are all right in front of the main strip and just a short walk from most accommodation.
The ski area benefits from high altitude with the lower slopes sitting at 1800 m.
This is a lovely small ski village that benefits from “big resort” skiing.
