We holidayed in France for most of our family life and we always said one day we would move to somewhere around Toulouse. We were lucky enough when we were looking for a home, to discover Marciac and the south of the Gers (French Tuscany), an area we had not visited before and to find the home of our dreams. We were lucky enough when we were looking for a home, to discover Marciac and the south of the Gers (French Tuscany), an area we had not visited before and to find the home of our dreams. We now live in a small village just outside Marciac with a mixed French and international population of just over 120, where we know almost everyone by name and have a full social life in the village. We also enjoy travelling around the Gers in search of sights, sounds, food and wine and we are never disappointed, in fact we go as far as to say we are spoilt. My wife and I run a Maison D’Hôtes something we never thought we would do, it has allowed us to meet very interesting people. In a word, we feel we are very lucky to have made the decision to come to France. close
