About me

Originally from Kent in the UK, I moved to France in 2004 with my husband and children. I traded in my life as a lecturer in IT and Hotelier to live the good life in rural France. I have 5 children (the 2 youngest were born in France), so have lots of first-hand experience of moving to and living in France with a family. About my area

I live in the Corbieres region in the Aude within the spectacular countryside of the Narbonnaise and Mediterranean Natural Park with its rocky gorges, vineyard domaines and Cathar castles. The historic city of Narbonne is at the heart of this area with its award-winning undercover food market (Les Halles), famous “La Grande Buffet” restaurant, pretty canal running through the historic centre and rich with historic buildings.
