About my area

My region stretches from Chalus to St Priest Ligoure and boasts over 300 km of hiking and biking trails in rolling green countryside. The area is also renowned for its circus in Nexon and the Route Richard Coeur de Lion with 17 historic castles he is reputed to have visited. With this rich history and over 2000 hours of sunshine each year it is easy to see why so many people fall in love with this part of the Haute-Vienne.

About me

Over the past 10 years it had been our aim to buy a property in France and move here. We initially bought a smallholding 5 years ago and then spent 3 years continuing to work in the UK whilst renovating before making the move permanently in early 2018. The beautiful open unspoilt landscapes and big skies here in France are a balm for the soul and the warmer climate allows us to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle we love, add to that the better value property and you really can find the perfect setting within your budget to live your dream.
