I am an American with a strong command of both English and French, enriched by my immersion in French culture for the past 28 years through marriage to a French man in Paris. During this time, I balanced raising my two children with my professional pursuits. Drawn by the allure of the French Alps and a desire for a lifestyle change, I relocated to the Chamonix valley. My passions encompass travel and real estate, and I have found great fulfilment channelling my efforts into collaborating with Leggett International. Renowned for its impressive track record, experience, and exceptional support teams, Leggett International aligns perfectly with my aspirations.
My journey has been characterized by diverse roles — from managing a family and achieving a doctorate in Musicology to attaining a 5th-degree black belt and instructing in both piano and karate. These experiences have instilled in me a strong work ethic and unwavering diligence. I am committed to going the extra mile in assisting you in discovering your dream home or facilitating the sale of your property. Moreover, my patience and diplomatic approach will guarantee an optimal experience as you embark on this endeavour.

With stunning mountain views, wildlife and the Arve river that runs through the villages, the Chamonix valley is one of the most beautiful places in France. And there is something here for everyone be it hiking, biking, mountain climbing, and skiing, or shopping, visiting spas and eating out at the many restaurants and cafes. It is a place that vibrates with activity but is at the same time relaxing: outdoor life and social or cultural outings often mix be it with music festivals, various world championships, or simply having lunch on a mountain slope.
The Chamonix valley has plenty of towns that one can explore, such as Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix, Les Praz, Tines, Le Lavancher and Argentière, and each has its own special character. An active community can be found in all these towns which are made up of families having school age children, young workers, and retired people. There are multiple elementary schools in the valley, libraries, cinemas, concert spaces, a general high school, a medical centre, and all the shops and public transportation needed to support the permanent population, along with those who enjoy having a second residence in the area, and the seasonal tourists.
Chamonix is the perfect location to have as a home base, from which one can travel to other mountains or regions in France (perhaps to ski in Les Contamines, Saint Gervais, and Megève or go swimming in Passy) or enjoy touring the neighbouring towns of Annecy and Aix-Les-Bains. Plus, both Italy and Switzerland are close by, so one would never run out of places to visit. And many destinations are easily done by car or public transportation for a day trip. As if that were not enough, the International Geneva airport is only an hour away, so the possibilities really are limitless.
