About my area

Ah, the Artois what a diverse wonder you are! Rolling fields giving to pretty villages slipping into the colorful industrial past of France. Stories of the Gauls, Romans, Kings, their battles and revolutions have all left their mark leaving us with stories to explore. Much like my home town in the states, one can enjoy city living with shops, events, and all the amenities nearby while still having the feeling of living in the countryside. The weather is also agreeable most of the time. We are known to be a bit rainy here but still get beautiful blue skies! Mild winters and comfortable summers make a trip to the sea worth it year-round, or even enjoy a nice hike in one of the woods. Like to find a great deal? Have a trip to one of the many marches aux puces that spring up every weekend. Want to enjoy some fine art? We have you covered there too with the wonderful museums in Arras, St. Pol and even a Louvre extension in Lens. And if you are wanting to go to the Louvre itself, well you're in luck, you can get there by train in just under an hour. There is a reason I fell in love with France, and it all started here. About me

Coming from a faraway land of corn and cows (the Midwest region of the United States) I had the odd mixture of big city life with a country living. I find the cities here aren't as big and the country living is so much more impressive. I miss my home town just outside of Chicago, but it's more missing my family than the lifestyle. Big moves mean big changes, big changes mean new jobs. I had always work customer service and enjoyed the people, but retail lacked something...Adventure!! I have found that with Leggett. I get the chance to continue to bring customer satisfaction, along with exploring new places and helping people on their very own new adventures. What adventure shall we go on together?
