I moved to Brittany in February 2017 after having lived for 15 years in the Haute Vienne where I taught English at the University of Limoges. Originally from Portsmouth, I missed the sea, and now settled in Peillac I am just 40 minutes from the lovely clean, quiet beaches of south Morbihan. About my area

I live in Peillac which is a thriving, dynamic village, set up above the Nantes-Brest Canal and close to the famous Rochefort en Terre which attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year. The area I cover includes the historic old port of Redon which in recent years has become a real cultural and social hub with music venues and festivals, loads of sporting activities and a superb cinema with films in 'version originale' always on the listings.
