The Drôme Provençale and the lovely village of Montbrun-les-Bains stands for beautiful nature, quiet and rural life. The nature is varied, if you drive through it a new surprise unfolds after almost every turn. The surroundings are budding in many ways where the population has adapted well to the natural environment and left it virtually untouched. Montbrun-les-Bains has been chosen as one of France's most beautiful villages, situated at the foot of the "Mont Ventoux". We count an average of 240 sunny days a year, in short, this is where the sun lives! The water of Montbrun-les-Bains has proven beneficial characteristics and has been attracting spa guests since Roman times. The spa is very popular for its treatments of the respiratory system and rheumatic diseases, but also for wellness cures. A planned expansion can give the village an impulse without disturbing the balance between the good of the rural well-being and economic activity.
I myself have always been fascinated and busy with renovating and building houses, besides my business activities my profession was teaching mathematics, computer science Geo-ICT and real estate computer science at secondary and university level. Like many Dutch people we camped during the holidays, first with a tent and later with a caravan in various regions of France. Since then my dream developed, once a house in France. And after all the wandering, in 2000 we chose the lovely Montbrun-les-Bains with its beautiful surroundings and bought a piece of land to build our house on. After years of hard work there - in cooperation with our local contractor - I was able to realize my dream during the holidays. There, after years of hard work during the holidays, I was able to realize my dream. That did not happen by itself. In the meantime, quite a few practical, administrative and financial puzzles had to be solved, but that all worked out well. I now have that experience and I would like to share it and help people realize their dream "A house in France".
