About me

Born and raised in New Zealand, I lived in Brisbane, Australia before moving to France. During this time I worked in the real estate industry, and security industry, before returning to my chosen profession as an investigator working for a government business enterprise. Having always loved France I had the opportunity to come and live in the beautiful Languedoc area for a year in 2011. About my area

The Aude department of the Languedoc Roussillon region, with its 300 days of sunshine per year, has dramatically varied landscapes and is emerging as one of the most enticing parts of France, with remote villages, little travelled byways, as well as beaches and cities offering a thrilling diversity of activity. It harbours countless treasures, chateaux, abbeys, monasteries, churches, towns, villages, fortifications, natural sites, mountains and gorges. The Aude is the heart of Cathar... read more
Born and raised in New Zealand, I lived in Brisbane, Australia before moving to France. During this time I worked in the real estate industry, and security industry, before returning to my chosen profession as an investigator working for a government business enterprise. Having always loved France I had the opportunity to come and live in the beautiful Languedoc area for a year in 2011. My intention was to work as an estate agent but at that time, for various reasons it did not happen. Needless to say I am still here, having fallen in love with the area with its proximity to the beaches, mountains and Spain. After living for a year in the Herault I gave up my Brisbane home and bought a Chambre D’Hotes (Bed and Breakfast) in the medieval city of Carcassonne in the Aude, which I operate with my French partner, cat and extremely cute toy poodle. Having previously sold real estate in Australia I had a yearning to get back into the real estate industry, as I loved matching people with their dream homes. The opportunity came for me to join Leggett and here I am. If you are selling your property I will endeavour to get the best price for you and if your dream is to live in the south of France and to enjoy the sun, the sea, the warm friendly people, good food, great wine and life “a la Française” I can help the dream become a reality. close

It harbours countless treasures, chateaux, abbeys, monasteries, churches, towns, villages, fortifications, natural sites, mountains and gorges. The Aude is the heart of Cathar country with a collection of fabulous medieval castles - veritable eagles nests perched on rocky crags, guarding over this once turbulent frontier region. Of special note are the castles of Quéribus, Peyrepertuse and Lastours. It has several major tourist attractions such as: The Canal du Midi – the world's oldest commercial canal, opened in the 17th century, linking the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. It has a shaded cycleway and footpath and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Carcassonne -  UNESCO World Heritage site, an historic restored medieval city encircled by ramparts. Narbonne - a former Roman city, once the regional capital, with an impressive cathedral, underground Roman grain-store, and canal side quays. The region of Carcassonne also comprises the Montagne Noire mountain range and forests, plus remarkable geological features such as the cave of Limousis and abyss of Cabrespine. Wine lovers will be delighted by the Corbieres and Minervois wines, that are perhaps amongst the best in the south and there are many wine domains open for tasting and discovery in this region. There is an international airport and TGV station at Carcassonne for easy access to this wonderful area. close
