I was born in Bourg Saint Maurice and raised in a rural hamlet called Le Planay close

I was born in Bourg Saint Maurice and raised in a rural hamlet called Le Planay close
to Villaroger. With all the winter and summer mountain activities that the valley has to
offer, it was not enough to feed my appetite for travel and adventure. After my studies
in United-States and in Poland; which is my mother’s home country, I ended up in
Iceland working in the tourist industry, once again being close to nature and the
glaciers. Having these experiences made me realise that the quality of life I've always
known in the Haute Tarentaise can't be found anywhere else. It soon became obvious
that I will come back here and start my own family.
Today as a young mother of a two-year-old, I am happy to be back living in Le Planay
and to share my passion for the Haute Tarentaise and nature with my child, as my
father did with me. I am pleased to share my knowledge and experiences of this
amazing valley and to make it your dream living place.

In winter and summer there are many accessible world-famous ski resorts, offering
different experiences and levels to suit you and your family. The ski areas of Tignes
and Val d'Isère, St Foy Tarentaise and La Rosière are of high-altitude guarenteeing
good quality snow all season long. From Bourg Saint Maurice, these resorts are just a
short 45-minute drive away, allowing you to have the freedom and choice of a new
destination every day until your heart's content.
The Paradiski area is directly accessible by the funicular from Bourg Saint Maurice.
This ski area is the third largest ski area in the world and offers more than 450 km of
runs for the whole family to enjoy, with a wide choice of slopes from the green run to
the off-piste, the 900 m toboggan run and the new 1.8 km zip line...
In summer, golf and mountain bike trails offer endless possibilities. From Les Arcs
you can often see the many paragliders in flight admiring the valley from the sky.
Children can enjoy and love the aquatic centres and adventure parks in and around
Bourg Saint Maurice.
Villaroger is a hidden paradise connected to the Paradiski ski area. With future
development of a telecabine in the village of Le Pré this will allow you to stay in a
quaint quieter village with quick access to the ski area.
Each village in the Tarentaise has its own charm and offers a very special piece of
heaven, whether it’s for living all year round or just for your holiday. Views are
breathtaking and unforgettable from any corner of this valley.
Last but not least, the Haute Tarentaise Valley would not be what it is without its
people. The passion of its inhabitants for their region brings all this dynamism and
creates this gentle balance between nature, culture, gastronomy and sport.
