I was born in Aix-les-Bains where I grew up near the amazing Bourget lake living and working with my parents in our family bakery. Day to day life working in customer facing commerce taught me the value of hard work, of listening to others, of being very sociable, independent (and loving french patisserie!). About my area

I live in a small village nestled above Albertville with a splendid view of the town and Mont Blanc. Albertville is a dynamic Olympic city with its sporting and cultural activities located in the heart of Savoie Mont Blanc. Located at the foot of the largest ski valley, ‘The Tarentaise’, and not far from those of Maurienne, it is also at a crossroads between lakes and mountains, with very quick access to Geneva, Annecy, Chamonix, Lyon, Grenoble , Italy and the Bauges range of mountains which... read more

I moved to the Albertville area in 2002 where I worked in a number of different sectors including tourism, commerce (assistant director of a well known furniture and decoration store) and then in the organization of educational and winter sports tours to english speaking schools across France. I love this environment and have a real passion for the area in which I live. Some highlights…. Appreciating the calm of a walk or a bike ride on the shores of Lac du Bourget, Annecy or around the Roselend dam, it is very refreshing. The Albertville basin is also close to the Saisies and Arêches Beaufort resort which offer you an exceptional recreation and relaxation area in the middle of Beaufortain and Diamant ski area. There are breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the Alps from the various resorts in Val d´Arly, it's very picturesque…. You will be impressed! I myself am still amazed by the spring snows on the peaks which contrast with the green vegetation. Gorgeous ! close
