This lovely house is set on the edge of this dynamic, sought-after village in a peaceful spot just a few minutes walk from the heart of the village. You walk up 5 stone steps to enter the house through the front door which takes you directly into the kitchen (approx 28m²) with fitted units incorporating a sink, vitro-ceramic hob and electric oven. There is plenty of space for a family dining table, making this a very usable room. The original parquet floor and pretty staircase as well as the wooden internal doors give this room a great deal of character. A staircase down from the kitchen leads to the basement (approx: 55m²), which houses the washing machine, oil boiler and hot-water tank, as well as space for a workshop and storage and has a door to the driveway outside. The mature garden is beautiful, a perfect size and is very private.

Queaux is a very picturesque village, roughly half way between the towns of Lussac-les-Châteaux and L'Isle Jourdain (both approximately 12 km) both of which have good shopping facilities and further bars and restaurants. The city of Poitiers, with all it's history and entertaining distractions, as well as the international airport and TGV railway station, is approximately 45 km and Limoges airport is about 83 km.
