You turn into the lane where this house is situated and are surprised you are so close to the centre of Cussac yet in such a private spot.
The driveway leads around to the side of the house and the sous-sol garage doors which open out to reveal a huge space under the whole house.
I will start to the front of the house though, a private terrace with built in retractable sunblind opens out and catches the sun for a large proportion of the day. The front door leads into the hallway and to the right is the kitchen of around 18m2, fully fitted with hardwood units and built in appliances which will remain with the house. Opposite the kitchen a door leads into the large living room, set out with a dining table and a sitting area. There is provision for a wood burner if required. A hardwood parquet floor gives a quality feel. Back into the hallway and there is a built in cloak cupboard, useful for shoes and coats, the corridor then leads on to the bedrooms. There are three double bedrooms of 12, 14 and 14m2; two also have built in cupboards. There is then a good sized bathroom with a bath, bidet, sink and built in cupboard. And then a separate WC.
A further door from the hallway leads up into the large loft space. A portion of the loft space could be converted to a further bedroom if required, and the rest makes great storage.
Back onto the ground floor and stairs then lead down into the sous-sol. Here you have clearly defined areas within a total space of over 100m2. There is space to park 2 or even 3 cars, a summer kitchen area, one area containing the central heating boiler and the oil tank. You then have a storeroom, office (all linked to broadband) and finally a work room. All fantastic space and such a great facility of this style of house.
The house is also connected to a mains drainage system too.
The gardens surround the property and are mainly laid to lawn, bordered by mature trees.
In summary a turn up and move in house with neutral decoration, central heating, double glazing etc so nothing needed immediately to make it a home.

The Haute-Vienne is still a largely agricultural department located in central France. It is divided into two by the Vienne River, which runs from east to west. In the middle it splits into another river, the Isle, which runs into the bordering department of the Dordogne. The principal industry is porcelain, most of which is manufactured in the departmental capital, Limoges.
The department has a number of natural and man-made lakes, such as the Lac de Vassivière and the Lac de St Mathieu, many of which come complete with beaches, fishing, boating and watersports.
Limoges has produced fine enamel work since the 12th century, and still exports a large number of exquisite luxury goods. It has a lively university and thriving nightlife, as well as an attractive city centre with major shops as well as winding narrow lanes with boutiques and cafés.
Other places of note are Bellac, a small town with just 5,000 inhabitants, which is close to the Lac de St Pardoux, as well as Rochechouart with its magnificent chateau built out of meteoric rock!
Limoges-Bellegard airport, 5 minutes to the West of Limoges, as direct flights to and from the UK, and has had significant investment to cope with passenger numbers. It is also possible to go by TGV to Paris and then onwards to the UK or other European destinations.
As the most accessible department within the Limousin prices in the Haute Vienne are slightly more expensive than the Creuse or the Correze, but bargains can still be found.
