Val d’Isere, known as one of the best ski resorts in the world, linked with Tignes, offering you in excess of 300km of pistes and phenomenal off piste. The alpine ski resort is set at 1850m altitude. Glacier skiing can be accessed, taking you to the dizzy heights of Glacier du Pissaillas having an altitude of 3140m, also offers skiing in the summer. Mountain biking and road biking are a draw in the summer months too, with the Tour de France often having a mountain stage over the infamous Col De L’Iseran.
