Here is a home that has evolved with its owners over the last 25 years to become a special place to raise a family or just relax on holiday and soak in the peace of the woodlands surrounds the lake area of Saint Pardoux.

As you enter the formal courtyard area the detached house stands proud in its garden where the fragrances of lavender, rose and wisteria start to ease away the tensions of the day.

The house sits on just over 2,100 m2 of gardens which stretch back behind the house into the woodland and afford elevated views towards Saint Pardoux. In the space directly behind the house a seating area has been created which is surrounded by established gardens planted over the last 10 years. This is a private sanctuary and on quiet days you may even see deer peering down from between the trees at the top of the garden.

The large leisure lake of Saint Pardoux, with its three beaches and swimming pool complex is just a 3 minute journey by car or an easy bike ride. The area is a wildlife reserve which also offers a multitude of outdoor pursuits. The city of Limoges with its international airport is within 30 minutes’ drive via the easily accessible A20 motorway.

This has been a place to enjoy with family for the current owners for the last 25 years who have made good friends in the neighbourhood. Old maps of the area show there have been houses here for at least 300 years. There is a lot of space, character and a great sense of peace throughout the house and surrounding gardens.
