The front door of the house is to the right of a sunny, East facing terrace. A remote controlled sun canopy provides shade.
On entering the house, the spacious lounge-dining room with American kitchen (55.05 m²) is straight ahead and is very bright and sunny thanks to its dual aspect. Double glass doors lead to the veranda at the back, and the terrace at the front.
A utility room is to the right of the front door, both with water access and built-in cupboards.
The double garage (25 m²) is next door, with the boiler and a water softener. There is hatch in the ceiling providing additional storage space above the garage.
Off the garage is a temperature controlled wine cellar with space for 300 bottles.

The gardens of this property are very well stocked with flowering plants and trees. The back garden has a lawn surrounded by various trees and bushes including maples, weeping willow, camelia, tamarix, pine, olive tree (that produces olives that can be eaten) and a fruit bearing neflier tree. There is also an iron summer house, perfect for evening drinks. At the front and side of the house there are rose bushes, hibiscus, yuccas, spruce and a pomegranate tree that produces tasty fruit.
There is an automatic watering system in place for the entire garden. A gardening storage room next to the garage on the right hand side of the house is very practical. A 36m deep borehole in the back garden provides water for the garden.
There are footpaths surrounded by high hedges throughout the estate enabling residents to move around locally without meeting any cars.
Chaponost is only 20 minutes South of Lyon, either by public transport or by car. There are lots of hiking opportunities within Chaponost and beyond in the Monts du Lyonnais, West of the town.
