Situated in a tiny hamlet outside the village Haussez in the Thérain valley. This valley forms the border between Picardy and Normandy. (From the house, you can easily walk into neighbouring Picardy.) In the hamlet, the neighbours are friendly and welcoming. Once a year, everybody gets together for a small fête.

The house is set well back from the road. We enter the property from the road through electric gates, along a paved driveway with hedges on both sides, and a flowerbed on the left. The drive opens up, first on the right to the large garden, then on the left to the courtyard and house.
The garden is mostly lawn, with flowerbeds, trees and bushes. It benefits from all-day sunshine. For the children, there are swings. Towards the rear there’s a vegetable garden and an outbuilding. The courtyard offers ample space for parking, and access to the garage and the wood storage behind the house. Between the house and the lawn, there’s a paved terrace.

Upstairs there is a big landing, currently used as an office. This leads to three large bedrooms, one of which has a bathroom with shower, sink and a WC.
