Set in the heart of the beautiful Breton countryside with views for many miles and over half an acre for its own plot. It is ideally placed for access to the UK, very accessible for Dinan, St Brieuc and Lamballe. The house has been renovated, had new drainage and it is absolutely ready to move into and enjoy. A portion of attic remains available for conversion if you wish to stamp your own mark on the property and/or make more bedrooms.
This lovely and spacious stone house offers very comfortable living. From the new drainage system right through to the stylish red fitted kitchen, everything has been done. The exterior is a delight too, with a mature garden, a garage, greenhouse, veggie plot and lots of places to relax.
Inside the home there is a central entrance hall with the lounge with fireplace off in front/right and a corridor leads to 2 double bedrooms, a shower room, separate WC, the kitchen and utility room. The kitchen is a very cosy space with a range of red fitted units and a wood burner. Beyond this there is a very handy utility room/larder. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, each with its own en suite including WC. Throughout the home is light and bright and there are some superb views.
The local area is very beautiful and less than half an hour from the Penthièvre Coast with its clean sandy beaches and safe swimming. Lamballe, 20km away is one of the nearest towns with a large weekly market, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants amongst its half-timbered buildings. Equidistant is the busy market town of Loudéac where there's a wide range of shops, restaurants, banks and several large supermarkets. Access is so easy; well under an hour away are the ferries of St Malo which arrive from Portsmouth, Poole and the Channel Islands or Dinard airport with its regular RyanAir flights from various parts of the UK.

The name of the departments translates as "by the sea" in Breton, and the department's principal town is Saint Brieuc, founded by the Welsh monk Brieuc in 482 AD, with its imposing cathedral. Other towns of interest include Dinan, one of Brittany's finest medieval towns and a major tourist attraction and Guingamp, another town of historic and architectural as well as religious interest. There are many beach resorts and fishing ports. The department boasts six "petites cites de caractère" including Jugon les Lacs, an ancient fortress town surrounded by rivers and lakes.
The department is the least populated department in Brittany and so there is a real feeling of space - if you want to escape the rat race and enjoy the peace and quiet of rural France, the Côtes d'Armor is ideal. There is a great diversity of rural pursuits, lovely beaches with many leisure activities, along with stunning coastlines and dramatic inland landscapes. The coastline is dotted with lighthouses and is characterized by rocky coves and tidal inlets, and inland paths lead to ruined castles, fantastic forests and farm properties built in pink, grey and black stone.
Scattered with beautiful manor houses and chateaux, the department offers some fascinating architecture, with many attractive granite-faced properties. The property for sale is this part of France still represent very good value compared to other regions of the country.
