The chalet is set in a beautiful spot with the Giffre river running below, the National Park famous for its numerous waterfalls in the spring just a 5 minute drive and the Grand Massif ski region a mere 2km. The chalet offers affordability close to the slopes.
Sixt Fer a Cheval is part of the Grand Massif ski region with 265kms of slopes, ranging from breezy wide open ones to technical and challenging ones. The area is exhilarating with spectacular scenery over the Mont Blanc region. The village boasts a fantastic 14km blue run from Flaine back into the village. There are a few restaurants in and around the village and also has sport shops, boulangeries and a local supermarket. For a bit more action, Samoens is just a 5 minute drive.
In the summer months, there is plenty on offer. With the Giffre gorge and river hosting white water rafting, canyoning, kayaking and rock climbing. On the doorstep, there is also hangliding , parapenting , mountain biking down mountain trails and if you’re looking for a little lower key, there is the Morillon lake for bathing and swimming.
