This traditional gite complex, part of which dates from 1640, is ideally situated in a peaceful village not far from various larger towns and from various transport links.
It has been a place of peace and serenity since a presbytery was established there in the 17th century.
Wooden beams, attractive stonework and log burners feature throughout the properties.
The presbytery and stable buildings have been tastefully converted to provide luxury
holiday accommodation in a stunning combination of modern facilities and timeless french style and character. Each of the four gites has large private gardens with comfortable seating areas.
Situated not far from the beautiful Lake Drennec, it occupies a tranquil setting surrounded by forests and woodland walks and yet is only a short drive away from stunning beaches and picturesque villages. The village pub is only a two minute walk away.
The main owners house has a lovely large lounge, a good sized kitchen, a buanderie, three bedrooms, a bathroom and a wc.
The first gite which was the old presbytery features oak beams, stone walls, vaulted ceiling and comprises of a luxury kitchen, a great living area and bedroom space for six people.
The second sleeps five and is similary kitted out with a full modern kitchen with adjacent dining/living area with wood burning stove.
The third, previously the old stables, sleeps two and is a really cosy holiday cottage. It has a granite chimney with wood burner, the usual wooden beams a lounge/dining area, fully fitted kitchen area and an open plan double bedroom.
The fourth, again ancient stables, is basically a studio apartment with a large bedroom, adjacent bathroom. It does have a fridge and a microwave but is usually used for budget holidays for a couple who use it more as a B&B base and eat out for the main meals.
All in all a well presented and thought out complex which has traded well over the last few years. There is still scope to grow the business with themed breaks to extend the season but the business is already well established.
