This exceptional country estate is set in one of the most sought after areas in the Perche National Park region of Normandy. The total peace and quiet make it a paradise for nature and nature lovers alike. The surrounding countryside has a network of foot and bridle paths which stretch direct from the property to Paris in the east and the Mont St Michel to the west. The estate is at the foot of the forest – part of the forest belonging to the estate – and extends to over 32 acres of gardens, pasture and forest. At night badgers, wild boar and any time of day deer have been filmed in the gardens.
The estate would have started life in late 16th century as a village, the main property still has the old bake house wall in perfect condition and the original stone archway to the kitchen. In another of the buildings is a stain glass window of historical interest. In yet another building is the original vaulted wine cellar. Today the property consists of 4 beautiful stone buildings:

- holiday cottage with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms,
- office building/ games hall with kitchen (entertaining space)
- Longere housing utility room, wine cellar

The Principal house :
with its commanding position has superb views over the other three properties, the land and countryside beyond – being set high up at the edge of the forest.
The stone property has character both internally and externally with it’s huge open fireplaces, the high beamed ceilings, original tiled floors (tomettes) and the exposed curved stone wall of the original bakehouse.

The four buildings are a good distance from one another and all face in different directions giving great privacy and outlooks over the countryside, the grounds that they lie in are known as the gardens and are mainly lawns with some flower beds and also fruit trees : fig, pear, apple, plum, greengage.
There is a well at the foot of the gardens which could be used for the gardens and also the horses.
Stables , a wooden construction including 2 open field shelters and 2 stables. There are fenced paddocks for the horses and also large fields used for hay. Large area of woodland with paths to hack as well as direct access to the GR22 ( public bridleway and foot path) Great area for horseriding and walking alike.

The closest town with amenities are Belleme, Mortagne au Perche or Remalard - all approximately 10km-15km away . In fact these towns are the points of the "golden triangle" in the Perche National Park which as the name suggests is the triangle within which everybody wants to own a property. Paris is within 2 hours by road and rail and Calais 3 1/2 hours, the ports at Le Havre and Caen 1 1/2 hours .
The Loire valley is very accessible for days out as is the Normandy coast - should you tire of the wonderful countryside on your doorstep!
