Typical mountain village house nestled amongst its neighbours facing full south and towards a little square one way and the mountains behind and Mont Blanc the other. This adorable mountain village nestles amongst its neighbours facing full south and towards a little square one way with the mountains behind and Mont Blanc the other. The first thing you note is how the current owners have blended the old with the new, so you have a modern up to date property with an authentic feel.

The main living area is open plan and has a very social feel to it. Dining, as always, takes the priority in France and so a large eating area makes you feel very welcome and again is very sociable. There is a large wood burner in the lounge area which radiates warmth giving a cosy feel to that part of the space. The kitchen is modern and well equipped.
On the first floor you have two decent double rooms, one with access to the balcony which is south facing and also on this floor is a shower room with toilet.
Moving up to the 2nd floor is a large bedroom – possibility of splitting into two – a a shower room with toiler and laundry area.
All the rooms have views or glimpses of the mountains and it throughout it has a great atmosphere and feel. Finally running the full size of the house is a huge cellar ideal for wine, skis, mountain bikes and all the other things you’d want to leave in a holiday home or store in a family home.
The village perches 8kms below St Martin de Belleville and is one of the sunnier villages in the valley. It has a huge church which stands out againt Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains. It takes 10mins to drive up to the free car park in St Martin de Belleville where you’ll also find a small supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars. The nearest bar is in Villarly, le Barillion, which is open all year and a minute by car.
St Martin de Belleville links into the Three Valleys which includes Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens and Orel and give 600kms of piste should you wish to buy the full area ski pass. You also have the option to buy a local pass which gives 160kms of piste to enjoy and is of course a cheaper option especially if you have a young family.
All in all this charming village mountain house for sale would make a great home or holiday home and offers tranquility whilst being part of a friendly community and a wonderful base for exploring the beautiful mountains and to ski from.
