David Cowx Independent Agent, says :
This studio offers very good value accommodation for 4 people and, with a balcony, ski locker and cave for storage of personal items, offers all that you need in a ski base Located in Plagne Bellecote (1930m) it offers HIGH ALTITUDE, SNOWSURE accommodation and is almost ski in ski out. Certainly you can ski back to the residence and all of the lifts are only a very short walk away; you come out of the ski locker room and on to the snow in front of the residence; very convenient. The current owner has rented the studio out on a long-term basis; this agreement has now come to an end. Plagne Bellecote is becoming increasingly popular with UK buyers looking for value for money. It retains a very French atmosphere with a choice of bars, restaurants and shops and is perhaps the best located of all the high altitude La Plagne villages for immediate access to all of La Plagne, Paradiski.
NB; the owner has rented the studio out for the season earning an approx. 4000 euros in rental.
The accommodation comprises an entrance hallway with ,off this , a bathroom (bath, overhead shower and washbasin) and separate WC. There is a large lounge/dining/sleeping area. This is divisible so that you can make two separate sleeping areas, one having bunk beds and the other two sofa beds. There is a good sized balcony off the lounge area which faces South East and offers views of the slopes, the Arpette chairlift and up towards Belle Plagne. There is a small separate kitchen area with twin hotplates, dishwasher and fridge..
One floor down from the studio is the cave, for storage of personal items, and the ski locker.
This is a nice bright studio that is perfectly useable as it is. It would not require much at all to update it if that is what the new owners wished to do.
The choice of ski lifts out of Plagne Bellecote is amazing . As well as the aforementioned Arpette chairlift towards Montchavin-les Coches and the Vanoise Express cable car link to Les Arcs, there are two further chairlifts, the Blanchets towards Champagny and the Colosses towards Plagne Centre, as well as the Roche de Mio bubble via Belle Plagne.
Plagne Bellecote is perhaps the best situated of all of La Plagne’s high altitude villages in terms of accessing the ski domain. The Vanoise Express cable car link to Les Arcs means that the joint Paradiski ski area offers an incredible 425kms of on piste skiing and a wealth of offpiste . The village itself remains traffic free with free outside parking on the edge of the village. You can pay for underground parking if you so wish.
Plagne Bellecote is extremely popular with the French self-catering clientele and, as such, offers a good choice of value for money bars, restaurants and shops as well as a cinema and a swimming pool.
In summer the lifts are open to allow walkers and mountain bikers access to the higher peaks In fact, in summer, Bellecote is perhaps the liveliest of all the La Plagne villages and is very family friendly with play parks and a variety of entertainment laid on.
IN season a free shuttle bus runs every half hour linking Bellecote to Plagne Centre. The bubble to Belle Plagne runs in the evening allowing a further choice of bars and restaurants.
