The current owner has tastefully refurbished it and successfully rented it out on a holiday weekly basis. There is a south facing balcony, ELECTRIC SHUTTERS to the lounge windows and a telephone point.
Situated on the 4th floor of a small residence the studio is in a quiet location just above Plagne Centre (the owner tells me that parking outside the residence is never a problem) and yet it is only a 5 minute walk into the heart of the ski village. On the ground floor of the residence the studio has its own ski locker and cave for storage of personal items.
For those of you who know the resort skiing to Plagne Centre from the Aime 2000 side and taking the left turn blue piste to Plagne 1800 takes you right past the residence.
Please note; for winter season 2009/10 the studio was rented out for the season at a rent of 650 euros per month, a total rental of 3250 euros . In previous seasons the studio has been rented on a weekly basis via a local agency and the owner's own website and has earned rentals of approx. 4000 euros per season.

Plagne Centre, the original La Plagne village, is situated just below 2000m at the foot of a huge high altitude snowsure bowl with lifts radiating to all sides. Although it could never be called pretty it is undergoing some serious renovation and upgrading and does offer a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops. La Plagne has invested a huge amount of money in adding new lifts and upgrading the existing infrastructure and it is easy for even early intermediate skiers to get about and explore the area. As well as wide open pistes in the main bowl there are some lovely runs through the trees to lower lying villages such as Montalbert and Montchavin-Les Coches whilst the south facing Champagny sector offers long runs and some amazing views. For those looking for a challenge then the black runs and off piste from the Bellecote glacier down towards the Montchavin sector, and of course the North Face down into the Rosuel/Ponturin valley, should keep you amused .
The incredible Vanoise Express link to Les Arcs has created one of the world’s largest ski area with an amazing 425km of piste on offer in the joint Paradiski ski area..
The accommodation is to be found on the 4th floor of a small residence with the ski locker and cave on the ground floor . There is a small entrance hallway and of this a bathroom with short bath, shower attachment, WC and sink; nice bright tiles make this a cheery place for that early morning shower.. Going through to the living area there is a well equipped (cooker with oven and 4 ring hob, fridge, microwave and storage cupboards) kitchenette with breakfast bar dining area. The lounge area has a TV and stereo as well as a telephone point, a pull out sofa bed and a clic clac sofa bed. There is a good-sized balcony off the living area with views of the pistes right outside the residence and over towards Plagne Centre and beyond.
NB: electric shutters have been fitted which are an excellent security device.
There is plenty of external parking right outside the residence.
Heating and hot water are included in the annual charges of approx 1400 euros; a considerable sum has been spent on refurbishing the residence's communal facilities.
OVERALL A GREAT LITTLE STUDIO.

Self –drive; it is an approx. 10 hour drive from the main channel ports .
By train; the nearest station is in the valley at Aime . Regular buses and taxis run to Plagne Centre.
In winter a direct Eurostar service runs to Aime.
By air; the nearest airports are Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, and Lyon. There are bus transfer services to Aime.
