By car it is an approx 10 hour drive from the channel ports .
The village has a primary school and access to many lovely walks. There is an adventure, high ropes course through the woods which is open during the summer. Summer activities close by include mountain biking, white water rafting or kayaking, horseriding and parapente to name a few. The beautiful lake and town of Annecy is around 1 hour drive.
The ski resort of La Plagne , Paradiski is accessed in around 20 or so minutes drive with the village of Plagne Montalbert or the La Roche chairlift at 1600m being the nearest access points. You could be in the Three Valleys, accessing Meribel from the Brides Les Bains cable car within 20 to 25 minutes. The funicular in Bourg Saint Maurice is just over 15 minutes drive offering access to Les Arcs whilst resorts such as La Rosiere, Sainte Foy and Val d'Isere/ Tignes are all easily accessible by car
