Just above Longefoy is the traditional, family friendly, ski village of Montalbert which offers fast chairlift links into all of La Plagne. The village offers a choice of shops, some lovely restaurants, and a couple of good bars . The tree lined slopes above the village offer sheltered skiing in bad weather and some great “between the pistes” skiing for those feeling a little more adventurous. Recent investment in snow cannons has done much to maintain the pistes down to the village.
As well as access to some fantastic skiing this is a lovely part of the world in the summer months. Walking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, parapenting, canoeing, white water rafting and horseriding are all on offer.
