David Cowx Independent Agent, says :
This is a great value studio for those of you on a smaller budget looking for a SNOWSURE, HIGH ALTITUDE ski base. The same French couple has owned it for the last 29 years; in fact they are the first and only owners. The studio is ready to use now, equipped and furnished for 4 people ,but could do with a little updating; a bit of work and a quick trip to IKEA would transform the place for not very much money at all. The studio could easily be rented out to seasonal workers and would earn 3-4000 euros for a winter rental.
Plagne Bellecote , situated at 1930m, is the most central of all of the La Plagne high altitude villages with a choice of lifts fanning out in all directions.
EXCELLENT BUDGET PURCHASE.
The studio can be accessed by lift and is on level G of the residence. There is a small hallway with storage and, off this, a bathroom with bath and washbasin and a separate WC. The lounge/diner area is divisible by a sliding partition that makes two separate sleeping areas, one with a double sofa bed and one with a set of bunk beds.
Please note; you can access the bathroom from either sleeping area without having to go through the other area.
The kitchen is equipped with 2 hotplates, small oven, fridge and dishwasher. Off the lounge area there is a small, northeast-facing balcony.
The apartment comes with a cave, for storing personal items, and a ski locker both of which are to be found on level B of the residence. From the ski locker you walk outside onto the snow with the 8 man Arpette chairlift directly in front of you making this a SKI IN, short walk out location.
Plagne Bellecote has a very French atmosphere with an increasing number of British buyers realising it offers serious value for money. There is a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars, including the popular “Spitting Feathers”.The bubble to Belle Plagne operates in the evening and a free shuttle bus runs every half hour to Plagne Centre. There is free external parking outside the village, which means that the commercial centre is pedestrianised. Covered parking is available.
Plagne Bellecote offers a huge choice of chairlifts with the 8 man Arpette, 6 man Blanchets and 4 man Colosses all fanning out in different directions. The Roche de Mio bubble allows you to access some of La Plagne’s highest skiing and great runs down back towards Bellecote, over to Champagny or, using another bubble, onwards and up to the Bellecote Glacier. In total La Plagne offers some 225 km. of piste with the Vanoise Express link to Les Arcs increasing this by a further 200km. In total the joint PARADISKI ski area offers an amazing 425 km of piste.
