Heather Byrne Independent Agent, says :
This lovely refurbished chalet is well located and nestles in the pretty and popular ski resort of St Martin de Belleville, a beautiful location summer and winter. The chalet is in great condition and is well decorated to a high standard making a very nice holiday home and ski base.
You approach amongst pine trees which give a lovely Savoyard feel and enter into a hallway with hanging space and small office area. Next you have a bright and sunny living area containing the kitchen, lounge and dining area.
The kitchen is open but to one side and clearly a separate space, so whilst it remains a sociable place to cook it still feels like a proper kitchen. It has high spec integrated fittings with marble work tops and is an extremely nice space. Next to this is the dining area, which looks out to the mountains. There is a lovely wood burning stove adding warmth and character and then you have a very cosy snug lounge. Off this room you have a terrace of 8m2, a great space of outdoor dining and enjoying aperitifs whilst admiring the splendid and exceptional views across the village to the mountains beyond. Also on this floor is a nice double bedroom and fully tiled shower room.
Going up to the top floor you have a further 3 bedrooms. 1 en-suite with very nicely finished shower room and a useful dressing room, then a further double and finally a single. There is also full bathroom again well decorated.
The apartment would make any holiday maker happy and especially those who love the mountains and their skiing. St Martin de Belleville is becoming a very popular all year round holiday destination with sunny weather and stunning views whatever the season. Of course being a ski resort with access to the Three Valleys, the world’s largest linked ski area, is a huge bonus!
The village is very attractive with a great selection of restaurants for you when you decide to dine out, and just up the road you have a 2* Michelin restaurant that will collect and return you after a night of very fine dining. The restaurants in the village provide variety so you can enjoy pizza one night and a four course gourmand feast the next. The piano bar is a popular haunt and they have live music at least twice the week – and it’s always the type you know the words to and want to sing along – marvellous!
