The grounds consists of a bowls court, a large hanger, 2 sheds with covered area for parking the ride on lawn mower, a caravan standing with amenities. A path leads to a field (approx ½ area) that could have great pretension to expand the property.This field has direct access to the adjoining lake which includes a small beach, lakeside bar, children’s play area and assault course. The lake has common carp, Pike, tench perch and even some wild trout, ideal for the keen fishermen The land has two further ruins that can be renovated. Langoelan is a 20 minute lake side walk or a 2 minute car drive from the cottages and offers a theatre, boulangerie, pizzeria, restaurant/bar, bar and new for 2008 a children's activity area with football, basket ball, go carting, tennis.

Cottage 1

A feature beech staircase leads to the first floor and a large spacious master bedroom (4.4m x 5.2m) with exposed beams and French window providing extensive views of the lake. A further two twin rooms (5.2m x 4m) (5m x 2.7m) and bathroom with bath and shower over bath, WC and wash basin. Fitted carpet is throughout first floor.
This cottage sleeps 6 very comfortably. Externally there is a private garden with superb views over the lake. An out building attached to the Farmhouse that is used at present as a utility room and storage, it has a shower room with toilet and basin. This building has an eternal door and can also be accessed from the Farmhouse.

Cottage 2
A converted 3 bedroom detached house from the original grain store (date stone 1697). French windows lead to a tastefully furnished spacious open plan, beamed sitting room, a featured central stone fireplace housed with wood burner.

A typical Breton 4 bedroom farmhouse which has been tastefully restored, includes the original superb stone fireplace. The ground floor is an extremely spacious and open planed (4.75m x 7m) with sitting room with a magnificent feature fire place housed with a wood burner. Externally there is a large private garden with patio area and views over the lake. A "Prie-dieu" which was used by Pilgrims for washing and praying is situated in the dining area, a fitted kitchen. Also situated on the ground floor is separate double bed room (3.60m 2.50m), shower room with WC and wash basin.

Locally there is Horse riding that is less than 10 min's away and a superb 9 hole golf course about 25 min's away, Quad Biking and the famous Lac de Guerledan with all manner of water sports and boat trips is 20 minutes away. Fishing is abundant in Brittany, the Clearwater Lakes is only about 15 min away and the Nantes Brest canal is 15 minutes drive. The picturesque Guld de Morbihan is less than an hour away, as are the historic towns of Anray, Vannes, Quimper and Josselin. We are centrally located about 40 min's to the west and north coasts, there are unspoilt sandy beaches, and various attractions. Choices of beautiful south coast beaches, Lorient, Quimper, Concarneau and many more. The atmospheric forest of Heulgoat (part of the Arthurian legend) the medieval forest of Merlin the Magician, where the Knights of the Round Table searched for the Holy Grail can be found 45 min's to the north. Just 15 minutes away is the Lac de Guerledan, which has leisure activities for every member of the family. Its rustic landscape and forest is a haven for walkers, ramblers, mountain bikers and horse riders. Whilst it’s all year round water sports centre includes dinghies, rowing-boats, pedaloes and water-skiing boat cruises and good restaurants and is well worth the visit. Sandy beaches ideal for children with safe swimming and out-door cafes enable the less active to enjoy the view without expending too much energy.
