UNDER 2M EUROS FOR TWO SKI CHALETS. INCREDIBLE PRICE. FANTASTIC LOCATION. GREAT CHALETS.

Two ski chalets for sale in the Three Valleys ski area. Ideal location for a ski chalet buisness.

A superb opportunity to get a jump start in the ski industry by buying two lovely chalets that between them sleep over 20 clients. Could be run as self catered or fully hosted, or you could use one for yourself and let the other – there are lots of possibilities to consider, including running a summer business... or perhaps you just want to buy two chalets next to each other to share with the rest of the family ........ well the possibilities are endless!

The chalets are located in the popular and sunny village of Villarabout just outside St Martin de Belleville. From St Martin catch the 8 man gondola that whisks you up the mountain and then ski back to the village at the end of the day.

But let’s talk about the chalets first;

Both chalets have been decorated with taste and a traditional feel and, essentially, in a way that suits running a chalet business which is what they are currently used for. They both have comfortable lounges and dining areas with open fire places and great views. The kitchens are well equipped and there is private parking and a garage with storage. The outsides have been nicely finished in wood and stone and they have been well maintained.

Chalet 1 is approx 170 square metres in total with accommodation for thirteen (but can be increased to fifteen) in five bedrooms with four of them en-suite. On the top floor is a large family room with double bed (another single bed can be added if required) with en-suite shower and its own balcony. The middle floor has a triple room with en-suite shower and its own balcony, plus an additional shower and toilet, finally on the ground floor there are two twin bedded rooms with en-suite baths (an extra bed can be added to one of these rooms if required), and a bunk bedroom.

Chalet 2 is approx 130 square metres with accommodation for twelve persons (but can be increased to fourteen persons) in five en-suite bedrooms and consists of a large family room with one double bed and two single beds with en-suite shower and its own balcony, there is room for two more single beds in this room if required, on the top floor. Then on the middle floor there is a double bed with en-suite bathroom and double doors onto the main balcony. The ground floor has two twin bedrooms with en-suite showers and double doors onto pathway, plus a bunk bedroom with en-suite shower.

Most importantly when running a successful ski business or buying your ski home is the ski area and the Three Valleys is second to none. The chalets are located in a quaint and very popular village just outside St Martin de Belleville where an 8 man gondola whisks you up the mountain, an easy walk in normal shoes. The village can be skied into via incredible powder fields, and a short car drive or free shuttle bus gets you to the lifts to start the day. From there you’ve got 600kms of marked piste to explore plus the endless off-piste potential. In the Belleville valley alone there is a wonderful range of skiing for all levels of ability and St Martin’s ski area is equally suited to both adventurer and beginner alike.

St Martin de Belleville is a pretty, traditional mountain village that has developed into a successful ski resort without any of the ugly buildings or overpricing in many of the other linking stations. It has a very relaxed feel, unlike its busier neighbours of Meribel and Courchevel. 6kms further up the mountain is Les Menuires, with Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe, at the top of the Belleville valley.

Savoie 73.
Tucked away in a corner of the Rhone-Alps, and possibly the most varied region of France, is the Savoie (73) - one of the most beautiful places on the planet. With soaring peaks, verdant valleys, deep lakes, rushing rivers and dense forests where wild boars forage and eagles soar. Here you will find beauty in abundance with breathtaking views round every corner. A region of such contrasts also provides many gastronomic delights from a wide range of local wines to cheeses like Beaufortain that are actually made in the high mountain pastures during the warm summer months. Within the Savoie is an area known as the Tarentaise, which is essentially a vast area carved out by huge glaciers, it brings to mind the Winter Olympics and famous ski resorts such as Courchevel, Méribel, Tignes, Val d'Isère and La Plagne. But don’t be deceived it is also well worth a visit for its Baroque chapels, picturesque hamlets with colonnaded houses and the wide-open spaces of the Parc National de la Vanoise. The diversity of the flora and fauna in this area is well-known and attracts nature lovers as well as snow sport fans! But for most people this is home to some of the most famous and the largest ski areas and ski resorts in the world.

In particular the 3 Valleys (Courchevel- La Tania- Meribel- Brides Les Bains- Les Menuires- St. Martin de Belleville- Val Thorens- Orelle-) stands out from the crowds as the largest fully linked ski area in the world with over 600 km of piste.

THREE VALLEYS SKI AREA.
A beautiful place all year with highly defined seasons and quiet and tranquil out of the ski season when the crowds have gone home, and then suddenly once again each winter the mountains of the Three Valleys come alive with people enjoying this vast ski area..... the largest linked skiing in the world.

The Three Valleys ski domain provides more than 600km of runs and probably the same again off-piste. In fact it should now be called the Four Valleys with the link into Orelle (Maurianne Valley) which can be accessed by ski from Val Thorens. This has also opened up some extraordinary off-piste runs.

The Three Valleys provides direct links between the ski resorts of St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel, Mottaret, La Tania, Brides les Bains and the four Courchevel resorts, la Praz, 1550, 1650 and the world famous 1850 (probably the most expensive ski resort in the world!) – and now Orelle, in the fourth valley - all under one ski pass offering on-piste skiing from 1300m all the way up to 3200m. As these figures show the Three Valleys offers huge altitude differences favouring long run skiing. It has an ultra efficient, state of the art ski lift system, quality piste preparation and a dense artificial snow making system (1920 snow cannons) complementing the excellent natural snow cover.

However, if you are not a fan of downhill skiing or like some variety during your stay then you can also roam the domain at your leisure on foot, hiking along the marked trails, or using the pedestrian ski lift passes. Many trails have been created especially to enjoy the increasingly popular snowshoeing sport and to discover the valleys from a new perspective: flora, wildlife, monuments, and spectacular scenery. There are also many cross-country skiing tracks that are prepared and maintained each day. These allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery and provide the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the mountains away from the pastes.

The property in the Three Valleys is extremely varied from the uber luxury chalets of Courchevel 1850 with their own helipads and underground pools to the cramped ski apartments, designed to get you skiing as cheaply as possible. Then there are the village properties ranging from tiny mountain barns to renovate and mountain houses sandwiched together in untidy yet charming rows through to imposing buildings that may once have been a monastery or village hospital perhaps – and then there’s everything in between.

An interesting and wonderful area all year round, there is much more here than the snow sports, and yet it is this that draws the crowds.

If you are looking for quality ski apartments for sale or luxury ski chalets to buy in the Three Valleys, which includes Courchevel, Meribel, St Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens then simply click on my name at the top of the page and it will list all the properties for sale in the Thee Valley ski area and surrounding areas of Savoie 73 in the French Alps.
