My area covers Brittany (Cotes d’Armor, Morbihan) just a short flight or ferry crossing from the Channel Islands and also with good air and sea links to the UK, making Brittany a popular choice to purchase a holiday retreat or a permanent home, as many thousands of people have done so recently and in the past. Picturesque ancient towns, wonderful coastlines, excellent restaurants, miles of uncluttered roads and friendly welcoming people makes Brittany a wonderful place to be. The temperate climate makes for wonderful summers, and winter temperatures not as severe as some parts of the rest of France. The French are very family orientated, so children are very well catered for, with excellent educational facilities and plenty of activities organised for them during the school holidays. France’s low crime rate means that you will not have to worry as much about your children or the security of your home, as you might in some other countries.
My partner, Deborah Heard, has been a successful member of the Leggett Brittany team, so I had no hesitation when the opportunity arose for me to join her. My previous career was sales orientated which I thoroughly enjoyed and have missed the satisfaction it gave me in successfully matching a client to the right product. This will continue to be my philosophy with property sales; matching a potential purchaser to the right property for their needs, then helping them achieve a smooth and successful purchase. Having been born on Guernsey, I have always had an affinity with France and its people, as travel links between the Channel Islands and France have always been very strong.
