Ferrassières is known for its lively annual lavender festival (1st Sunday of July) and is located in the UNESCO classified area of Mont Ventoux. Within this area are the villages of Sault and Montbrun les Bains. The latter is one of the finest medieval villages in France and is known for its spa and medical treatments in the thermal baths.
