The domaine is ideally situated to host tourist activities - it is close to the motorway exit serving the centre of Carcassonne. The region, agricultural and especially wine-growing, also benefits from a flourishing tourist market. The area of Carcassonne is exceptionally endowed, with La Cité de Carcassonne, attracting more than 2 million tourists per year, and the Canal du Midi, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
