The local village of Allemond also has fantastic outdoor swimming facilities as well as the recently opened Telecabin de l'Eau d'Olle providing access for both skiing in the winter and walking and mountain biking in the summer.

Vaujany is a very affluent family village and holds the ‘Famille Plus Montagne’ label for its childcare facilities. It has its own sports complex with a 25m swimming pool and flume, children’s play area, gym and spa with sauna and Jacuzzi. A brand new, world class ice rink was also built only a few years ago and now offers skating and regular ice hockey matches. It is now also serves as the training base for up and coming European ice skating stars. The village came second in a vote in ''The Times'' for ''Best Ski Resort in the World'' only being beaten by Whistler, Canada. It has also won ''Best French Ski Resort'' as reported in the EasyJet in-flight magazine.
