The two-storey apartment, which is in need of some redecorating and updating, occupies the whole of the top floor of this modernist-style apartment building. Each apartment has a private garage in a secure, enclosed courtyard behind the building - and there is also a secure cellar/storage room for each apartment on the building's lower ground floor.

Located in the historic centre of Pau, there are many excellent shops and amenities close to the apartment which are easily accessible on foot, by bicycle, by tram and by bus. The huge, newly opened covered market is a 5-minute walk away – and a great choice of lively restaurants and bars can be found everywhere!
The area in and around Pau is well-known for its top-rated schools, which offer a range of studying options and specialities in theatre, dance, sports… and even horse riding! In addition, the English-speaking International School of Béarn, which teaches the English National Curriculum, is just 10 minutes away from the apartment.
The Béarn is extremely popular all year round for hiking, mountain-biking, white-water rafting and fishing. The region also offers a choice of winter sports, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing and snowboarding. Ski-buses run regularly from Pau up to the ski resorts during the winter months. For beach-based activities, the famous resorts on the Atlantic coast are about 90 minutes away, with family beaches at Hendaye and St-Jean-de-Luz, and surfing at Biarritz and Anglet.
